PCB multilayer board refers to the multilayer circuit board used in electrical products. Single board or double board terminal blocks are mostly used for multilayer boards. The printed circuit board with one layer of double lining, two layers of unidirectional outer layer or two layers of double lining and two single layers of outer layer is interconnected through the positioning system, alternating insulating rubber materials and conductive graphics. According to the design requirements of the printed circuit board, it becomes a four layer and six layer printed circuit board, also known as multi-layer printed circuit board.
With the continuous development of SMT (surface mount technology) and the introduction of a new generation of SMD (surface mount devices) such as QFP, QFN, CSP and BGA (especially MBGA), electronic products are more intelligent and miniaturized, which promotes the technological change and progress of PCB industry. Since IBM first successfully developed high density multilayer (SLC) in 1991, various countries and major groups have also developed various high density interconnect (HDI) microplates. With the rapid development of these processing technologies, PCB design is gradually developing towards multi-layer and high-density wiring. Multilayer printed board has been widely used in electronic product manufacturing because of its flexible design, stable and reliable electrical performance and superior economic performance.
